Event Access

Only full weekend tickets available.

All land will be open for metal detecting across two full days, with a minimum of 80 acres of short pasture.

Arrival

Friday, 11 July from 16:00 – no detecting allowed on this day.

Detecting Schedule

• Saturday, 12 July: 09:00 – 18:00
• Sunday, 13 July: 09:00 – 17:00

Important: Detecting is strictly limited to the above hours. Anyone caught detecting outside of these times will be asked to leave the site.

Facilities

• Hot food available on site
• Basic toilet facilities will be provided
• No  showers – water will be made available

Rubbish

We strive to manage waste disposal responsibly. Please minimize unnecessary packaging and take your rubbish with you where possible.

General Rules & Safety

• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times.
• Drones will be used by the team in line with legal guidelines. Personal drone use must comply with laws and privacy regulations.
• Respect the farmer’s land – always fill your holes, remove scrap, and wear headphones unless told otherwise by admin.
• BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground to protect the grass. This rule is non-negotiable.
• Dogs must remain on a lead at all times and be well-behaved.
• Vehicles must remain parked – no driving around the site or between fields during the day.
• Land maps will be distributed with your armbands. You must only detect within the designated areas for each day.

Reporting Finds

Please familiarize yourself with UK laws regarding treasure finds. We urge all participants to report finds of interest to your local FLO.

• Any hoards or treasure finds must be reported immediately to event admin.
• Do not attempt to remove hoards or treasure on your own – improper handling could damage historical evidence and is illegal.

Community Sharing

We encourage you to photograph your finds and share them on our Facebook group. If you're unable to do so, an admin will be happy to help.

Important Notices

• This is not a platform to sell or promote products. We have official sponsors and suppliers.
• Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Offenders will be reported to the police and removed from the site.
