Join us for the UK History Finders Mega Weekender 2026!
A long weekend of detecting, camping, and great company on over 200 acres of beautiful Somerset pastureland.

This is a family-friendly event with plenty of room to explore, a relaxed atmosphere, and a chance to uncover some fantastic history.

⏰ Schedule

Arrival & Check-In

• Collect your armband and maps on arrival.
•  No detecting on arrival day.

Detecting Times

• Thursday 21 May 2026: Arrival from 16:00 — NO detecting this day!
• Friday 22 May 2026: Briefing 8:45 | Detecting 9:00–18:00
• Saturday 23 May 2026: Detecting 9:00–18:00
• Sunday 24 May 2026: Detecting 9:00–16:00

 All attendees must leave site by Monday 25 May 2026, 18:00.

Campers and long-distance travellers may stay until Tuesday 26 May 2026 (12:00 latest).

 On-Site Facilities

• Food Van (Cash & Card accepted)
•  Bar – Alcohol available
• Toilets
• Family Friendly

Note: No electricity or showers – makeshift campsite setup.

 Arrival & Conduct

• Please do not block access roads when arriving.
• No arrivals after 21:00.
• Vehicle movement around the site during the day is not allowed (except when leaving).
• Fill all holes, use headphones, and respect the land at all times.
• BBQs must be raised off the ground to protect the grass.
• Dogs are welcome ???? but must be on a lead 24/7 and well-behaved.

 Rubbish & Safety

• Please take care of the environment:
• Minimise packaging.
• Use provided bins.
• Follow all government safety guidelines.

Refund Policy

• 8+ weeks before event: 100% refund (minus booking fees)
• 4–8 weeks: 50% refund (minus fees)
• 0–4 weeks: No refund

Finds & Treasure

• Report all finds of interest to your local FLO.
• Any hoards or treasure items must be reported to Admin immediately – do not attempt removal.
• Please share your finds on our Facebook group during the weekend!

Rules & Reminders

• No detecting outside permitted hours (9:00–18:00).
• No selling or product promotion without admin approval.
• Illegal substances = immediate removal + police report.
• Drone use only with legal permissions and admin awareness.
