Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before making a booking.

Day Digs

The following cancellation policy applies to all UK History Finders Day Digs:

• Cancellations made more than 2 days before the event date may be eligible for a refund.
• No refunds will be issued within 2 days (48 hours) of the event date once payment has been made.
• Exceptions may be made for duplicate payments or payments made in error.
• Booking and payment processing fees are non-refundable.

Weekenders

Cancellation by You

• 8 weeks or more before the event: 100% refund, minus any booking fees.
• 4 to 8 weeks before the event: 50% refund, minus any booking fees.
• Less than 4 weeks before the event: No refund.

Cancellation by UK History Finders

If an event is cancelled by UK History Finders and no suitable alternative or rescheduled date is offered, customers will be entitled to a refund of the applicable event ticket price.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, bookings may be transferred to the new date.

Weather & Ground Conditions

Metal detecting is an outdoor activity. Rain, dry or hard ground, mud, cold weather, heat or difficult detecting conditions are not normally grounds for cancellation or a refund where the event can safely proceed.

UK History Finders reserves the right to make reasonable changes to fields, access arrangements, schedules or other event details where necessary.
